At Charlie’s Place, we take the health and wellbeing of our guests, volunteers, and staff very seriously. We know that our neighbors experiencing homelessness, who are economically vulnerable, and with chronic health conditions are at a greater risk of being impacted by COVID-19. Charlie’s Place is committed to continuing to provide limited services to many of whom are members of these communities based on recommendations from the  Department of Human Services, Department of Health, Mayor Bowser, and advice from the medical community.  We will be implementing the following COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Preparedness Plan for Charlie’s Place until further notice.

Starting immediately, we will distribute bagged lunches from 8:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday through Saturday.

Thank you to our community for your support during this challenging time!  We pray for the health and safety of you and your family and know that we will get through this – together!
